Wood Profits Review

Welcome to my website where you can read reviews of digital products; this time we will be talking about a ClickBank product called Wood Profits.

First, you will get a rough overview of the product, then we are going to check who is behind the Wood Profits. A very interesting thing is to double-check the claims they make, is it true what they say?
Or they try to just deceive you.

I know that you are looking for ways how to make money online, so at the end of this review, you will learn what is the best approach.

Wood Profits Review

The website WoodProfits.com was created in March 2011. So this product has been around for a while. It is basically a good sign. (Unlike other products, for example, Private Cash Sites which after a year are already shut down or removed from ClickBank).

So what do you get?
This system is an e-book guide that goes along with the audio. This guide is put together by the owner named Jim Morgan, who has many years of experience in this field. You might learn everything about how to start, run, and grow the woodworking business out of your home.

This system supposed to teach you how you can launch your own woodworking business for less than $1,000 and make more than $100,000 per year. And you don’t even need experience in woodworking. Also, you can do it with minimal capital.

It seems like they don’t take into consideration the costs when purchasing the raw material, tools, etc. But still, Jim says that you can only work about 20 hours per week and still make $100,000 a year.
Ask anyone who works in this field, how many hours does he work. My guess is more than a regular job which is 40 hours per week.

Who is behind

The creator of Wood Profits (WP) is Jim Morgan. At least according to the sales page.

Apparently he is a full-time home-based woodworking business owner and he started out in 1995.
On the sales page, it also says, that this Jim-guy featured in Entrepreneur Magazin and USA Today. This I was not able to verify but as we are about to find out, it is safe to assume that those statements are false.

He created this product since he wanted to share his years of experience and knowledge with the woodworking community.

Jim allegedly lives in Cypress, Texas – that is an unincorporated community in Harrison County, Texas USA. If you happen to be in the neighborhood you can ask around and let me know what you’ve found out about Jim…

The Claims vs. Facts

1 – First of all, let’s start with the owner.

The guy who supposedly created the Wood Profits and calls himself a Jim Morgan is most likely made up.

Just check the photo at the sales page.

It is bogus.
If you go to search google for this image you find a lot of results to many different websites. Obviously this is a stock photo (just take a look at the screenshot below).
I also have a short video on how to check that out in my post “What is the Wood Profits“.

Here is the screenshot a website iStock.com where one can purchase images:

2 – Fake Social Proof

Also when you are on the WP (Wood Profits) website there is a notification keeps popping up informing you about another person who just bought the WP product. This is also fake – it is just a plugin on their website to fool you.

3 – Their “Facebook Testimonials” are fake.

All these images are either stock photos or the comment are taken from different websites. Let’s take just an example – the last gentleman.

You see that also this is a purchased photo and it is used throughout a lot of websites.

Also, the screenshot on their sales page is quite old (it has been a while since FB uses different pictograms for likes).
Besides one would expect that the WP Facebook fun page (or Group) has lots of followers and members when looking at the number of likes and comments.

It seems that it is not the case:

Here is also an interesting “testimonial”:
I have found this video on YouTube where this guy says how great this product is.

Well, this guy is an actor. I have seen him making testimonials for other ClickBank products as well ( for example “Ecom CashCrusher” or “AZ Sniper“).
You can hire him at the website called Fiverr:

Many low-quality products use fake testimonials.

When you search for products or platforms promising you big earnings and you see these face doing testimonials, just pay attention since most likely the product is similar to the Wood Profits.

What I like

  • There are not many things I like about Wood Profits. But I think it is fair that there is a money-back guarantee. If you are for whatever reason not satisfied with this product you can ask for reimbursement within 60 days.
Should that be your case, I recommend asking for a refund directly at the ClickBank.
Here is the link to their support page. You can get your money back within a few days.

What I don’t like

  • Lots of misleading and false information, including the earning potential. There is no way that one can start earning over $100,000 a year simply by applying this material.
  • Using fake testimonials and fake social proof.
We have seen the notifications popping up on their website at a frequency of each minute or maybe even more often. With that number of users, one would assume that even the FB page has much more followers and they wouldn’t have to use stock images and actors for their testimonials
  • Upsells – The front end price of $37 is just bait. There are an additional 3 upsells with almost zero added value.
It is just a way how the owners (whatever that might be) make more money.

How about an Alternative?

If you are passionate about woodworking you can really turn this passion into a business.
But first, you need to create your website and most importantly, you need to find ways how to let people know about your new website.

RewardDollars Review

The best way is that people go to search engines like google, they put some keywords and your page shows up on the 1st page.
Would not be that awesome?

You know what – it is possible and easier to do than you might think. With proper education and support, you can start to see some revenue within 6-8 months.

Does it seem like a long time?
Well, first of all, I am not going to give you any empty promises – there is not such a thing as a get-rich-quick scheme.
Whenever you see a platform promising you to make some quick bucks, just run away.

What I am talking about is a platform where you can learn how to rank well with your website, how to promote the website throughout social media, how to get gree traffic and so on.
Besides, you can be a part of a community of more than 300,000 members from all over the world  – from beginners to top-notch marketers ready to help you.

Think about that and let me know.

Here we can do a comparison with my recommended platform, called Wealthy Affiliate.

egarding the Wood Profits, there is a “positive thing” ( for someone) and that is that they offer an Affiliate Program – that means if someone were to decide to promote this product he or she can earn a commission. Based on the commission structure it is easy to determine that the price $37 (or $27 after the discount) is not the final one.

  1. Front-end price is $37
  2. 1st Upsell – $29.97
  3. 2nd Upsell – $39 (There is a downsell to it – $29)
  4. 3rd Upsell – $49.97 (Again a downsell – $39.97)

An affiliate who promotes WoodProfits gets 75% commission on the front end and 50% on backends. That is a potential total of $80 per sale.

Disclaimer:
I am not associated/affiliated with Wood Profits, there is no credit for me whatsoever if anyone decides to purchase this product.

Final Verdict

We have covered a lot of red flags of the Wood Profits.

Would you spend only a single dollar on such a fake product? The material they offer for $37 ($27 after discount) is freely available on YouTube.

There is no point in buying this Wood Profits material at all. I know that there is a money-back guarantee, so technically you have nothing to lose, but what about your time?
So I’d say, save your time.

If you are enthusiastic about woodworking and you would like to leverage the internet to make your business visible in the online world I think you should check out ways how to do that.

First of all, I would learn how to create a website. You can post your work there, images, videos (also YouTube channel).
Then you need visitors coming to your website.

How to get these visitors (traffic) to your website?
The most quality traffic is organic traffic. That is free traffic – these people genuinely search for help and recommendations in the search engines, like Google, Bing, Yahoo, and others as well.
You will learn what your website needs to have in order to be at the 1st page of these search engines.

Now I will be honest with you – there is no secret formula or some kind of software that can get you to the 1st page of google.
You have to create content and this content must be helpful for people coming at your website.

With a proper guideline, you can have hundreds of visitors per day coming to your website, within 6-8 months. That is already nice traffic and there are many ways how to monetize it.

If you have any questions, let me know in the comment section below.
I will be more than happy to give you an answer, at the latest within a day.
